Pottery Classes for Children

I lead the children's classes at the Gloucester Pottery School run by an OGP member, Rosemary Swan. It is wonderful, well organized school with large classrooms, devoted teachers and hard-working students! The work with clay offers to children unprecedented opportunity to discover and to develop their creative potential. As a teacher, I enjoy to watch how the children's imagination grows and how their artistic potential evolves. We are making useful pieces, such as mugs, vases and bowls as well as building sculptures of animals, such as dinosaurs, fish and owls. At the same time I teach the children all the basic techniques in the field of the hand-build pottery. The kids love the classes, and they are focused and do truly wonderful pieces, which can be seen from few pictures below. We have a lot of fun!
